What Is National Institute of Personnel Management (NIPM)? - National Institute of Personnel Management is the premier all-India Institute of professionals engaged in personnel management, industrial relations, labour welfare and human resources development. It has a nation-wide membership of over 11,500 Individual Members and over 300 Institutional members spread over 52 chapters NIPM was established in the year 1980, after the merger with the erstwhile IIPM (founded in 1948 at Calcutta, now Kolkata) and NILM (established in 1950 at Bombay, now Mumbai). Its National office is located at Kolkata and chapters in most capital cities and major industrial towns all over the country. Why Student Chapter?? - NIPM Aurangabad- Student Chapter Objective 1. To utilize Aurangabad HR Network base for increasing the interaction with academics with special focus on Interaction with final year students 2. To Bridge the gap through structured sessions and workshops targeted at soft skills polishing like – Communication skills, Interviewing skills, Presentation Skills 3. To Provide platform for students to speak to industry stalwarts, from various fields ( Ex. MBA - HR, Finance, Production, Marketing ,Logistics or Engg – Electrical, Mech, Prod, IT& Comp, Civil etc ) and learn from their experiences. 4.To Provide easy access and opportunities to visit companies, witness the actual working , discussion with concerned people, undergo live projects, Summer Trainings, Winter Projects, Internship etc. Ranging from 1 month to 6 months in NIPM Member companies ( Or Through NIPM Network). 5. Skill development of students in order to prepare them industry ready on day 1 of their careers.

Modus Of Operandi - Interested Students will be enrolled under the chapter by filling up NIPM Membership forms and membership fees by students. Based on the initial interaction of the members students and the college coordinators, a program charter will be chalked out consisting of Workshops at specified institutes, Learning Sessions, Virtual Learning updates, Company visits etc. Members of these chapters will also get an opportunity to attend NIPM Monthly meetings In case of selection of students in live projects in area of interest, prior permission from institutes is must.
