*PRAYER OF CONFESSION (unison) Redeeming God, as we gather this morning, we bow our heads and ask you to forgive us.

Forgive us for turning away from the one true foundation of our lives Forgive us for turning away from the one true foundation of our lives. Forgive us for looking toward money, or attention, or our bodies, or what we eat and drink

as our foundation and to satisfy ourselves as our foundation and to satisfy ourselves. Forgive us for looking elsewhere for comfort in our struggles. Strengthen and encourage us to

look only to you and your Spirit for our strength and comfort look only to you and your Spirit for our strength and comfort. Continue to redeem us and give us the courage to trust in your mercy and your love.
