Talking Points on WRC-19 Agenda item 1.13 – IMT Above 24 GHz 1.13 to consider identification of frequency bands for the future development of International Mobile Telecommunications (IMT), including possible additional allocations to the mobile service on a primary basis, in accordance with Resolution 238 (WRC‐15) Resolution 238 (WRC-15) – Studies on frequency-related matters for International Mobile Telecommunications identification including possible additional allocations to the mobile services on a primary basis in portion(s) of the frequency range between 24.25 and 86 GHz for the future development of International Mobile Telecommunications for 2020 and beyond At this point in time, CITEL does not yet have a preliminary view on this WRC-19 agenda item
Talking Points on WRC-19 Agenda item 1.13 – IMT Above 24 GHz Determine the spectrum needs for the terrestrial component of IMT (IMT-2020) in the frequency range between 24.25 GHz and 86 GHz Assess the sharing and compatibility of terrestrial IMT-2020 with systems of other services, taking into account proposals for new systems under other agenda items, with allocations in each of the bands being considered Based on the assessments, determine which bands, or portions of the bands, should be candidates for identification for the terrestrial component of IMT, including the bands in which primary allocation to mobile will be required

INTER–AMERICAN PROPOSALS: DEFINITIONS PRELIMINARY VIEW (PV): Reconciled texts (as far as possible) between administrations who have submitted views to PCC.II. CITEL has no formal mechanism to adopt or approve such views but they are used in briefings to other regional meetings to which CITEL sends observers DRAFT INTER-AMERICAN PROPOSAL (DIAP): A proposal that has been supported by at least one other Member State. A WRC agenda item can have more than one DIAP INTER-AMERICAN PROPOSAL (IAP): A proposal for which the PCC.II has ended its consideration and discussion, has been supported by at least six (6) Members States and is not opposed by more than 50% of the number of supports obtained
