WHY As this is not a multiple choice question I have gathered the results and defined that the reason crime is the least liked genre is because it is inherently dark and generally negative, therefore when you look at the reasons people watch films it does not fulfil one purpose of that unless of course you like that type of film, which the majority don’t. Another answer was that crime films are too glorified now and use too many guns making it very unrealistic and not worth the watch.
