How did we do Model subtopics

My winter break was restorative because of the lack of a consistent daily schedule. How and why does not having a consistent schedule feel restorative? Having more time allows you to relax and concentrate on your emotional and physical well- being.   Not having a schedule gives you more freedom to explore outside interests that enrich you.

Winter break is emotionally challenging because of the lack of social interactions. How and why does a lack of social interactions present emotional challenges? Being away from one’s friends causes one to feel lonely. The absence of social interaction for a long period of time causes one to be anxious in social situations.

My winter break was restorative because of the lack of a consistent daily schedule. How and why does not having a consistent schedule feel restorative? Without a consistent schedule, people don’t feel the pressure of being in a certain place at a specific time, relieving the stress that comes with that pressure. In addition to reducing stress, not having a daily schedule allows a person to catch up on tasks that need to be accomplished, restoring a sense of organization.

My winter break was inspiring because it was filled with a lot of culture and history. How and why does culture and history inspire? Learning about the accomplishments of other people’s lives inspired me to try to make a visible change in the world. Exposure to different cultures and histories encouraged me to step outside of my comfort zone and embrace new traditions and ideas.
