We do that by helping to secure financing for you or your customer or by offering you and your bank a guarantee which protects against possible unpleasant surprises which may occur when trading with other countries. We help both large and small companies and we find the solutions which suit the specific needs of your company. EKF is owned and guaranteed by the Danish state but is run as a modern financial institution, which means that EKF´s services are not free. But with a guarantee from EKF you are backed by the Danish state and this makes a difference beyond Denmark's borders. EKF was established in 1922 as just the third export credit agency in the world.
