Find Me Printing Configuration Virtual Queue Setup Navigate to “Printers”; then select Find Me Queue to be configured In “Configuration” change the “Queue type” option to “This is a virtual queue (jobs will be forwarded to a different queue)” Select print queues for “Job Redirection Settings” Select “Enable Hold/Release Queue”
Find Me Printing Configuration Device Setup Scroll down the summary tab to the External Device Settings section and select “Enable print release”. Under “Displays jobs for release from the selected queues” select the “virtual queue”. Select “Enable Find Me Printing” On the “When released”, jobs print on: drop down choose “A single Queue” (the default) On the “Select the queue to release to” drop down choose the print queue associated with the device.
Creating Reports Go to Reports tab Select desire report type and format Ad-hoc Report
Installing License Login to PaperCut MF Go to “About” tab Scroll down to “Register” section
Embedded Installation (EIP1.5+) Requirements: Network accounting: Requires Xerox Network Accounting Module installed/enabled with off- box authentication feature included. (Network Accounting is also known as JBA or Job-based accounting.) Xerox Secure access: Requires Xerox Network Accounting Module installed/enabled. Xerox devices must support Xerox Secure Access and EIP.
Embedded Installation (EIP1.5+) Enable the HTTPS/SSL protocol Navigate to “Properties” -> “Security” -> “Certificates ” -> “Security Certificates”
Embedded Installation (EIP1.5+) Navigate to “Properties” -> “Connectivity” -> “Setup” -> “HTTP” -> “Edit” Enable the "Force Traffic over SSL" -> “Yes (All HTTP request will be switched to HTTPS)” option.
Embedded Installation (EIP1.5+) Enable SNMP v1/v2c protocolst. Navigate to “Properties” -> “Connectivity” -> “Setup” -> “SNMP” -> “Edit”.
Embedded Installation (EIP1.5+) Edit the “SNMP v1/v2c properties”. Verify the Community Names are correct and modify if required.
Embedded Installation (EIP1.5+) Create/setup the Xerox device in PaperCut admin interface. Log in to the PaperCut administration interface using a web browser (e.g. http://<papercut- server>:9191/admin). Navigate to the “Devices” tab. Click “Create Device” action from the left. Select the "Xerox (Secure Access EIP 1.5+)" device type and enter the information. Device Name Hostname/IPAddress Username: admin Administrator Password: 1111 Select Function(s) Click “Ok”
Embedded Installation (EIP1.5+) Enable “Login/Permissions/Accounting” -> “Login Methods”. Navigate to “Properties” -> “Login/Permissions/Accounting” -> “Login Methods”.
Embedded Installation (EIP1.5+) Click on “Xerox Secure Access Setup” -> “Edit”. Click on “Manually Override Settings” Button. Verify that the correct PaperCut Server IP Address: Port and Path is listed. Change “Device Login Methods” to “Xerox Secure Access + alternate on-screen authentication method”. Change “Accounting Information” to “Automatically apply Accounting Codes from the server to YES”
Embedded Installation (EIP1.5+) Go to User Permissions Roles- > “Edit” -> Non-logged in Users -> “Edit” -> Services and Tools to change the “Services Pathway” settings to “Locked”. This locks access to the copier functions unless the user is logged in.
Embedded Installation (EIP1.5+) Navigate to “Properties” -> “Login/Permissions/Accounting” -> “Accounting Methods” -> “Edit”
Embedded Installation (EIP1.5+) Navigate to “Properties” -> “General Setup” -> “Extensible Service Setup”. Verify that the “Extensive Service Browser” is enabled.
Embedded Installation (EIP1.5+) Verify that the “Extensible Service Registration”, “User Interface Configuration” and “Xerox Secure Access” items are enabled.
Embedded Installation (EIP1.5+) Important: As a final step, create a Xerox and PaperCut admin user that will be used by techs to have admin access to the machines. Login to the Xerox web interface >> click on the “Properties” tab >> on the left side menu click on “Login/Permission/Accounting” >> click on “Device User Database” >> click on “Add New User” and make sure all the roles are checked. Create the same user in PaperCut as an internal user.
Testing Installation Testing for an Education or Small/Medium Enterprise Installation: Print a test document such as a web page or basic document. Navigate to the printer section and select the Print Log tab. Navigate to the Printers → Print Log tab. Your print job should now be listed in the log. Your user account should also be charged an appropriate amount. Testing for a Professional (Client Billing) Installation: Log into the admin interface after completing the configuration wizard. Under the Users section, locate and click on your test user account. The quick find feature may assist here. Ensure that the user has the Account Selection option set to Show the advanced account selection popup.

Supported Databases PaperCut Software International Pty Ltd supports the following external databases out-of-the-box: Microsoft SQL Server 2000/2005/2008/2012/2014 (either 32 or 64 bit) Microsoft SQL Express 2005/2008/2012/2014 (free from Microsoft) PostgreSQL 7.1+ (a free open source database) MySQL 5.5+ (a free open source database) Oracle 9.2+ (including the free Oracle Express Edition).
