December 2016 Helping The Homeless At Christmas Homeless Mobile Run – Dublin- Food distribution Lions Club Donated €300 Individual Lions donated money, Clothes, Food and Toys Single Mother with three kids provided with hamper, toys and voucher for Tesco. January 2017 Distribution of winter fuel to the elderly in Ashbourne and district. Funds were raised during the year to support this project through bingo and quiz nights. Many families benefit from the project which will keep homes fully heated throughout the winter. International Foundation 1968 Lions Clubs International Foundation established The Lions Clubs International Foundation was established in 1968 with the purpose of funding large-scale Lions humanitarian projects for sight, youth, disability, health, and disaster relief. Since LCIF began in 1968, it has awarded over 9,600 grants totaling over US$685 million to improve the lives of people worldwide. Every single dollar donated to LCIF goes directly toward a grant.
