3.All about me My name is Damien and I am 12 years old. I live with my mom dad and my two dogs. My dogs names are Lola and Maggie. Lola is 4 years old and Maggie is 1 year. Last time I was height measured I was 5’8”. I live with my mom and There names are Alex and Nikki. I live in a double wide in lisbon, Ohio, north America, Earth, the Milkyway galaxy. I moved a total of 5 times in Ohio were I lived all my life. I have lived with a total of 9 animals in my entire life. I have lived no siblings in my entire life of what I know of. I have dad. met more cousins than I remember and I have a hole lot more of what I don’t know of or/and met. My actual mom left my dad and me when I was only a couple of months or years old. I have went to United all my life and hope to continue to until I graduate high school. I have been in 1 flood, 1 hurricane, 1 downburst, close to 1 wild fire, 3 tornadoes. Some of my hobbies are football and derbying.

Space camp On Friday of last week I went to a space camp presentation. It was all about what they did at space camp and about the shuttle launches. The presenter told the entire 6th grade about space camp and told us what she got to do there. She told us all about the multi-axis chair which she told us that it was a chair that moved in 3 different directions at the same time. And that it is a chair that you sit on to do so. She has also described the space pod simulator which was a tightly fitted ball made for only one person

5.Fall is… When fall comes it is the middle of football. It is the time when leaves change colors. The time when apples are ripe to make apple cider, and apple pie. It is time to make pumpkin pie, and jack-o'-lanterns. It means Halloween is almost here. It is time when you scare your friends, spend time with family doing fun activity's. Time when fun and games happen like bobbing for apples. Fall is my 3rd favrite season.

7.A look at me as a reader I am at a level z in reading. I like the genres historical and realistic fiction and I like some fanacy books. I like to read in my free time at school but I rarely ever read a book at home. I have read many books mostly from Gary Paulsen. I have opened my likings of books and different authors throw out this year. I used to only read books by Gary Paulsen.

A look at me as a writer I am a good writer but I am not the best nor am I the worst. I have neat hand righting.

Literature circle book entries White fang Titanic: voices from the disaster Prisoner B-3087 Tracker Lawn Boy

White Fang White Fang is a book about a half dog half wolf breed. A dog named she wolf had joined a pack of wolves and they killed 2 people and there dogs for food. The she wolf took to of the best wolves and a young wolf away from the pack and they trotted a long time before they started fighting for mating rights of the she wolf once one had won they looked for a den and a long time after they found one that was suitable. One eye was the she wolfs mate and he hunted for her and when the puppys were born One eye never came back. So the she wolf had to hunt for her self and once did not return for a long time so all but one pup survived. The pup grew up and wandered to a camp of humans which he was taken and the she wolf came to help him but did not attack the humans instead she allowed the to pet her. The pup was bullied by others dogs and pups

Titanic: Voices from the disaster Titanic voices from the disaster is a non fiction book that is written off of story's that survivors from the Titanic would tell the author. A family's all across Europe where gating ready to go to America on the Titanic. It was a feat of engineering do to its massive size. After it had boarded all the passengers it set off to America. It was supposed to take a couple weeks to get there because the Titanic was made for comfort not speed. But in the middle of the Atlantic ocean other ships sent messages to warn them about ice bergs are ahead but they Titanic's radio people did not take it to their captain because it was not marked with the letters that told them it had to go to the captain. So due to this the Titanic was going strait towards a ice berg. It had tried to doge away from the ice berg still got hit.

Prisoner B-3087 This book is about a boy who is a Jew during world war 2 and is taken to 10 P.O.W camps. His name is Yanek he lives in Poland with his mother, father, grandma, grandpa and sister. Germany has finally reached were he lives and has but up curfews so you can not be out after dark and if you are caught you will be shot on site. The Germans made the Jews build a wall around a town and after it was built they moved all the Jews into the small town. Then they started taking Jews to P.O.W camps to do labor for Germany. Yanek was the last person from his family to be taken to a P.O.W camp. When ha was sent to one he found that his uncle was at the same camp as he was. The Germans killed Jews left and right. Yanek’s uncle was the one of the people who got killed. Later on Yanek was sent to another P.O.W camp and the sent to more until his 10th P.O.W camp because that is when the allies had finally defeated Germany. Yanek and all the other Jews were sent to a apartment were they stayed until the could be moved some were else. When Yanek was moved he found that he had cousins that were living in the same place. He visited them almost everyday until he had moved to America.

Tracker Tracker is a fictional story about a boy who lives with his grandparents. His grandfather has cancer and it is not treatable so he only so a little bit of time to live. John the boys name he has been told that he mus6t go hunt by himself for deer. John does and he found a doe which he chased for a long time (2 days). John wanted to touch the doe because he thought that it would make every thing better. John finally tired out the doe after 2 days and John finally touched the doe. John went back home and he told his grandparents about what happened and they were happy and John saw that his grandfather was crying.

Teacher read aloud On my Honor by Marion Dane Baver The Cay by Theadore Taylor Island of the Blue Dolphins by Scott O'Dell

On my Honor On my Honor by Marion Dane Baver is a book about two young boys who are going to a park and did not go there like they said they would. One say of the boys had asked his father if he could go and his dad made him that it was on his honor which means that he is trusting him and it should not be broken or he would be very disappointed the 2 boys start riding towards the park but 1 of the boys stopped so the other had to. It was by a bridge with a creek under it so one of the boys got in the water and coaxed the in as well. They both were in the water when they raced to a sand bar one of the boys couldn’t swim so as soon as the bottom of the creek fell away he went under and went missing or drowned. The boy that did not drown went to the road and got help and they searched were and around were the boy had went under but they could not find him. The boy that was alive said he would tell the cops but did not until the pressure made him do so because the other boys family was worried about him.

The Cay A place in the Caribbean islands Mr and Mrs.Enright lived on island with there son Philip. It was all about when WW1 was happening and their island was getting attacked by German submarines not letting any boats go by without being destroyed. But Mrs.Enright wanted to leave and take Philip and herself to Virginia but she did not want to take a plane so they had to take a boat. When they left about 2 days into the voyage they were torpedoed and Philip and his mother got split up and Philip got hit on the head by a plank and got nocked out. When he woke a large black man was siting in front of him. They survived on a raft for awhile and during it Philip went blind so Timothy had to tell him what he saw. They reached a island and Timothy had looked around the island and decided a place to camp and he built a hut out what he could. He found lagosta (lobsters without claws) and they ate them and thought Philip to fish while blind. A hurricane was coming and Timothy did everything he could to get ready. When it hit it made the water come as high to Philips waist. Timothy did the best he could to save Philip from the storm he did but at the cost of his own life. About a couple of weeks later Philip got rescued by plane flying over and seeing the black smoke when Philip lit a single fire and called the navy to get Philip.

Island of the Blue Dolphins Island of the Blue Dolphins is a book about a tribe that has let Aleuts fish for sea otter but don’t trust them because the Aleuts have tricked them before. The tribe was supposed to get a even share of neckless and iron spear heads but they didn’t but instead got slaughtered by the Aleuts. Later on white men came to the island and brought them to a missionary but the main character Karana her brother Romo was left behind and Karana jumped into the ocean and swam back to Romo. But Romo died by a pack of wild dogs. Karana found a Aleut dog (the leader of the pack) and tried to kill it but could not and made it her pet named Rontu. Rontu died but Karana found a son of Rontu and took him as a pet and named him Rontu-Aru. She had other pets to. She was saved after she was alone on the island for 18 years.
