UCEC STUDENTS OF THE MONTH FOR APRIL 2016 Ms. Roncone’s Student of the Month Paola Ponce-Flores Paola is always on task and engaged in math discussions at her table. She has really blossomed in her level of mathematical discourse with classmates. I am very proud of her. Mr. Fish’s Student of the Month Kristal Alvarez-Miranda Kristal is attentive and hard working student. She is always willing to help others to get it.

Ms. Bell’s Student of the Month Courtney Mulford Courtney never misses class, has a smile on her face, and keeps us all in line with her no nonsense approach. Overall, she is enjoyable to have in class. Ms. Cook’s Student of the Month Tangerae Stephens Shah Tangerae is an excellent student and role model who is meticulous in her work.

Ms. Long’s Student of the Month Averi Rorie Averi is an excellent artist and an even better student! She always goes above and beyond! Mr. Adams’ Student of the Month Sarah Smith I have seen Sarah's work ethic and quality of work improve throughout the semester. She works hard and takes leadership of group assignments. She also has a great sense of humor!

Ms. Powell’s Student of the Month Gaby Aponte Gaby has been a pleasure to teach this semester. She excels in her work, and her outgoing and positive attitude is a great addition to our biology class. I'm so glad to have had an opportunity to teach her.

Ms. Lashley’s Student of the Month Alexandra Underwood Alexandra is an awesome student who is kind, courteous, and hardworking. Academically, she is one of my top students. Her positive attitude and enthusiasm for learning are refreshing, and she makes teaching a joy. Ms. Whitley’s Student of the Month Natalie Hetzel Natalie has worked really hard this year in Math. I appreciate her positive attitude and willingness to try problems even when they are challenging. She also has a great rapport with the students in class and tries to be friends with everyone.

Mr. Pharr’s Student of the Month Emily Cortez-Gomez Ms. Adams’ Student of the Month Abby Gilbert Abby is an excellent student who works to understand the material in chemistry. She participates as a peer tutor in her lab group, helping others who need assistance. Abby is a great role model for her peers and a student teachers are happy to teach. Congratulations! Mr. Pharr’s Student of the Month Emily Cortez-Gomez Emily is polite, considerate of her classmates, uses her time wisely and works hard.

Ms. Pharr’s Student of the Month Kayla Griffin Kayla is always so attentive and participates in all activities. She is kind and considerate and a WONDERFUL addition to my class! Congratulations!
