DVR CET RENEWABLE ENERGY CLUB

OBJECTIVE To create awareness on the advantages of utilising Renewable energy sources among the rural population. To improve Technical knowledge, explain the manufacture, working and benefits of Renewable sources.

To propagate on the use of Non conventional energy applications such as Solar Lanterns, Solar Water Heaters, Solar Lighting, Solar Cookers etc.

To impart training in Renewable Sources of Energy systems. To motivate students in propagating the use of Renewable energy in society (Especially in Rural region )

INFRASTRUCTURE The College has demo kit to demonstrate Renewable Energy systems like Solar Lantern Solar Cooker Solar Water heater

Students have made use of the equipment to explain the systems to people by going to them ( in villages around college ).

METHODOLOGY Every batch of students will be educated in Renewable energy systems by conducting Seminars, Guest lectures and various competitions like Quiz, Essay writing Slogan, Poster Display etc.

PLANS To establish a RENEWABLE ENERGY PARK in the college premises and to produce Solar power and use it for our College Labs, Workshops and Administrative wings.

PLANS To install Solar water heaters for proposed College Hostel.
