How can parents support their children? * Encourage children to complete the revision books that have been provided by the school * Encourage children to use the websites to revise * Listen to your child read every night and discuss reading books, newspaper and magazine articles, non fiction books and any other texts that they, or you, are reading.

* Explain that we are all different and that comparisons of achievement should not be made; what is important is that each child works as hard as they can to fulfil his/her own potential. * We will be offering a light breakfast (cereal, juice, croissants) this year if you would like your children to join us. The breakfast club will run from 8.30am in the classroom. * Ensure that children eat breakfast before school and have a mid-morning snack at break time, if they wish, on test days. * Ensure that the children have sufficient sleep before the tests!
