Achievements (2/2) Outstanding Faculty Ranked No. 6 in Taiwan for the number of faculty members who have received the National Science Council’s Distinguished Research Award. Optimal University-Industry Cooperation Ranked No. 4 in Taiwan after receiving the Ministry of Education’s University-Industry Cooperation Award five times to date. Also ranked No. 1 by the National Science Council for the cumulative total of fees received for technology licensing. Ongoing Invention and Innovation Only university to receive the Ministry of Economic Affairs’ National Invention and Creation Award in 2007. International Campus and Outreach Nearly 700 international degree program students enrolled in the 2014-15 academic year (7% of total student body). Working in Taiwan After Graduation The Taiwan government strongly encourages international students to consider looking for a job in Taiwan after they graduate. Taiwan Tech’s Job Fair in March has such opportunities available. The OIA also sends notifications of job openings from local companies to our international students. If you hope to work in Taiwan, it is best to LEARN MANDARIN!!
