When the Spirit comes

John 7:38–39 38Whoever believes in me as the Scripture has said, streams of living water will flow from within him.” 39By this he meant the Spirit, whom those who believed in him were later to receive. Up to that time the Spirit had not been given, since Jesus had not yet been glorified.

John 20:21–22 21Again Jesus said, “Peace be with you John 20:21–22 21Again Jesus said, “Peace be with you! As the Father has sent me, I am sending you.” 22And with that he breathed on them and said, “Receive the Holy Spirit.

Acts 1:4–5 4On one occasion, while he was eating with them, he gave them this command: “Do not leave Jerusalem, but wait for the gift my Father promised, which you have heard me speak about. 5For John baptized with water, but in a few days you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit.”

Acts 1:8 8But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”

Acts 2:4 4All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them.

Acts 10:44–46 44While Peter was still speaking these words, the Holy Spirit came on all who heard the message. 45The circumcised believers who had come with Peter were astonished

that the gift of the Holy Spirit had been poured out even on the Gentiles. 46For they heard them speaking in tongues and praising God.

Acts 19:4–7 4Paul said, “John’s baptism was a baptism of repentance Acts 19:4–7 4Paul said, “John’s baptism was a baptism of repentance. He told the people to believe in the one coming after him, that is, in Jesus.” 5On hearing this, they were baptized into the name of the Lord Jesus.

WE ARE NEEDING A FRESH ENCOUNTER WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT

Are you willing to change? Are you willing to be used? Are you willing for the gifts of the Spirit to be displayed through you? Are you willing to take steps of courageous faith?

WHEN THE SPIRIT COMES, THINGS WILL CHANGE
