Itinerary Thursday 13th July NIGHT/Friday 14th July morning– Depart school at 12:30am Friday 14th July - Arrive - France at 2:00pm by Ferry Arrive - Chateau at 4:30pm Evening activities at the Chateau Saturday 15th July– Melun Market Chateau Fontainebleau Sunday 16th July- Paris Sacre Coeur at Montmartre Cruise on River Seine Monday 17th July- Disneyland Paris / Depart at 8pm

Monday 17th July- Disneyland Paris / Depart at 8pm Tuesday 18th July- Eurotunnel approx midnight Drive through the night Arrive School at approx 7.00am Wednesday 19th July- Students return to school Text sent to parents on arrival at Chateau Friday evening. Accommodation Chateau de – Grande Romaine Château de Grande Romaine is set in 70 acres of grounds, with tennis courts, a basketball court and football pitch as well as an outdoor swimming pool. Evening Meal and Breakfast Packed lunch provided daily BBQ evening/Activities Disco Evening Swimming

Rooms and behaviour Rooms will be allocated on arrival- friendship groups will be accommodated as best as possible – most rooms sleep 3/4. Boys on one corridor/ girls on another with male/female staff rooms on appropriate corridor.

Disneyland All pupils have to report three times during the day to a member of staff at the meeting point. Lunch will be provided by the Chateau. Evening meal will need to be purchased/drinks.

Remember to bring…. Pupils are responsible for their belongings. Toothbrush/Toiletries/Wash Kit- no spray deodorants (they set the fire alarm off!!) Packed lunch for day 1 Some extra water/drinks/snacks Travel Sickness remedies Medication ( if required – given to Group leader) Insect repellent and relief spray/cream Suitable, comfortable clothing- eg track pants/sweatshirts etc, shorts, t-shirts swim wear, light waterproof jacket, disco gear! Euros, watch/alarm, euro adapter Sensible Footwear- there is a lot of walking!! Sunglasses, sun cream, sun hat, small backpack/bag. Nightwear/towel etc I-pod, MP3 players, DS games, books, magazines etc for the journey (pupils are responsible for these items). Pupils are responsible for their belongings.

Mobile Phones: Texting/phoning is very expensive abroad (up to 40p per text to send and receive) and worth avoiding. Contact service providers to unlock the SIM for use abroad. We do not encourage pupils to text/contact home. Pupils do have staff mobile numbers in case of emergency.

Spending money: Spends for souvenirs/ice cream/tuck shop Avoid spending in expensive motorway services etc on outbound journey. Money for food/drink on way home £60 recommended max (mainly Euros) bought beforehand. We won’t have time to visit banks, bureaux de change etc during the trip. A good place to get your Euros is the Post Office – they do not charge commission. Pupils are responsible for organising their spending money.

EHIC CARD The European Health Insurance Card. Allows access to state provided healthcare free of charge if you fall ill or have an accident. www.ehic.com to apply.

Return Return Tuesday 18th July Coach expected back at approx 7am Nell Lane. Students return to school Wednesday 19th July.
