There is a poem for everyone. As we look at poetry, we will notice the authors purpose for the poem. WEEKLY HOMEWORK MON Complete the first two Dr. Seuss word problems Read for 20 minutes Math: Word Problems We will learn how to consistently use addition and subtraction strategies to solve one-and two-step word problems within 100. TUE Complete the last two Dr. Seuss word problems Read for 20 minutes Writing: Poetry Where does poetry hide? We will take a walk through the many doors of poetry. We will discover what is in our hearts and the world around us. WED Read the study guide and complete the shadows practice sheet Science: Moon and Shadows We will determine how the shadows of various fixed objects change during the day based on position of the sun AND uses observations (charts) to record the shapes of the moon over a period of time.
