January 23, 2017 Journal Prompt – “Going Into Hiding” Imagine you are forced to move into a secret hiding place for two years. You are with your immediate family only and one family friend. No one else can know you’re there. Not even your best friend. You’re not allowed to go—or even look– outside while you’re in hiding. You have a day to pack up any belongings (EXCEPT YOUR PHONE) you want to bring, but they must fit inside your backpack. Besides your phone, what things would you bring to entertain yourself for two years? Why? How would you pass the time, being locked in a small house with your family? What would be some challenges of this?
