Program – Challenges (2 Major) 1. Administration of major service offerings and limited staff. SQL Servers Streaming Servers File & Print servers Web Servers Virtual Servers Sharepoint Servers Utility Servers Disaster Recovery Sites Campus Archives &Backup Srv Networking Infrastructure

Program – Challenges (2 Major) 2. Growing service areas despite limited and diminishing Funding. Outreach Wireless Mobile devices Computer Labs & work places Network infrastructure Sprawling Storage Needs Maintenance Contracts Information Security SAN & Virtualization Our services compete with each other for funding. For example the SAN will require an additional $15,000 annually in software maintenance alone.

Planning Implications Continue development of our Disaster Recovery strategies. Continue to develop strategies to solve technical problems as quickly as possible. Review our place in the structure of the organization to find support resources. Continue to watch industry trends for possible solutions Continue monitoring performance and security. Seek additional funding to support the growing services and infrastructure now required.
