PROGRAM DESCRIPTION

Program ”FRIGEA Blood First” Introduction “FRIGEA Blood First” is a Program specially designed for hospital blood banks and blood establishments. This Program will allow you to join 2 other centres in a privileged user experience with our new solution FRIGEA Blood. The Program is scheduled to start in July 2017.

Program ”FRIGEA Blood First” What we offer Free use of the solution during the complete Program (3-6 months) (*)(**) Hardware elements: 1 read-write desktop pad, 5-10 temperature log cards Software application Program organized in 3 Phases: Phase 1) Installation and training (0.5 days) Phase 2) Functional validation and first hands-on experience (1-2 days) Phase 3) Regular use Participation in the Group of participants on the Program “FRIGEA Blood First” Participation in the Group of participants on the Program “Research on Cold Chain Control of Blood Components” (*) The Program duration will be adjusted so that a minimum number of tracing logs can be completed (**) In case hardware elements were damaged, charge of repairs will be assumed by the Program participant

Program ”FRIGEA Blood First” Your contribution Report at the end of each Phase Results, suggestions, etc. Events logging in the technical support platform Incidents, suggestions, requests, etc. Joint regular follow up Testimonials at the end of validation and use Phases Publication in specialized media at the end of the Program Hosting during visits; Q&A assistance Estimation of one visit per month

What is the mean unitary cost for a red cell concentrate, platelets or plasma component in your region?

Program ”FRIGEA Blood First” Admission Application Form (2/3) > Hospital blood banks Hospital Unit Yearly average of transfused bags # bags Yearly average of bags returned to the blood bank Yearly average of bags discarded due to temperature by the blood bank Estimation of temperature logging cards needed # cards Ratio (maximum of daily transfusions/average of weekly transfusions) (e.g. if there are 50 bags being transfused weekly and the busiest day in the week is Tuesday, with an average of 75 bags being transfused, then the ratio would be 75/50 = 1.5) Ratio Average of expected return time for each card (since the bag is sent from the blood bank until it arrives back to the blood bank) # hours Percentage of bags you expect that will be saved (among those currently being discarded) % bags
