Maximize our confidence with Neuro-linguistic Programming

Introduction You either have the talent or not have the talent for a skill. Is this true? Motion analysis and optimal simulation revealed techniques (which can be learned) of the best athletes. The key is to pinpoint the main actions and procedures (called models in NLP) of achieving excellence. Originated by John Grinder and Richard Bandler, the goal was to find out how great achievers used their brains to generate incredible results.

NLP is like software for the human brain. You can have the feelings you want if you have correct “coding” in your brain. Example of applying an NLP technique: Recall a wonderful experience by having the vivid image in front of you. Make the image bigger and brighter, and even make the sound louder. Do you feel greater by doing this? Do similar things to a bad experience. Make it dimmer, darker, and farther and farther away until it disappears. Or, look at it as you are the 3rd, 4th, or 5th person watching a show. How do you feel?

Another example: the language we use Another example: the language we use. Our brain cannot process negative terms the way we want. Because in order to negate something, we need to think of it and understand it first. Example of pattern interruption: Think of another bad moment you had. At the same time play some funny music in your head. Now, stop the music and play the sad scenes again. Do you feel differently this time?

Why do you feel differently? What happened? The code in your brain has been changed. It is true that our bad feelings can be gradually alleviated through time (after months or years). Why wait? In NLP feelings can be changed now! By using NLP techniques, from now on you can look at things in a totally different way. Welcome to the world of NLP!

Principles of NLP 1. The map (reconstruction of sensory inputs) is not the territory (the reality). People react to their own representation of the reality, but not the true reality. 2. Every experience has a structure. How an image is arranged in our minds determines what it means to us. Change the structure of our thoughts, and our experience will change. 3. If someone can do something, anyone can learn to do it. We can learn the greatest skills, just like learning how to ride a bike or drive a car if we know the correct learning process.

4. The mind and body are parts of the same system. Not only our feelings affect our bodies. All the senses (visual, auditory, olfactory, …) and movements of our bodies create certain kinds of feelings. Circle of excellence (similar to anchoring, this technique also brings you to a great state of mind) 5. We have all the resources we need. Any image, sound, or feeling in your mind is a resource. Even if your great moment lasted for only 1 second, your can expand this feeling and step into it any time you want.
