Mastery Connect Supplemental Lesson District Benchmarks

Finding the district benchmark There are two ways to assess the district benchmark…..computer and bubblesheet. First, go to your tracker, click the hour (class) you need to assess, slide over through the standards (use the bar at the bottom and scroll to the right), you will see the district benchmark is a black column and when you hover at the top it will have the title of the assessment. Remember you do NOT search through the common assessments, it will automatically appear in your class tracker for you.

Assessing on the computer Now that you have found the black column for the district assessment, click it. At the top of the gray gle/ccss columns is an id #, this is the test id- write it down for every hour/class it will be different. Take the kids to the computer lab- have them go to Chrome and then www.masteryconnect.com/bubblesheet

Assessing on the computer cont. The first box to pop up says test id- students enter the id # you copied for that hour/class. The next box to pop up says student id- have students enter their 6-digit student id #. Students can see the exam and enter all of their answers in the bubbles to the left of the screen. If students do NOT finish, have them hit the pause button on the top left above the bubbles, if they do finish, have them hit submit, and then click okay. Their scores will pop up and be in your class tracker for mastery connect.

Export to excel for “anonymous” grade posting in your room or to review You will use this function when you need to review the answers a student selected and don’t want to print the student reports because they take up a whole page, or when you post how students performed on the board in your class. Go to the tracker- slide across until you find your assessment- click on the assessment- go to the orange square with three lines and click on export to excel- Once excel opens up you will delete the student names- if you only want to show overall percent you can delete the answer choices made- or if you want to review with the students’ don’t delete the name and then add a space between each student to make it easy to cut them apart and distribute so students can quickly see when you review the answers which were right/wrong and how to improve for next time 
