The Water Cycle What you need to know

Evaporation Evaporation is the first step of the water cycle. Evaporation is when heat turns the water to steam it is also called water vapour. Transpiration is when the water comes out of trees as steam(we call this “tree sweat”).

Condensation When water vapour rises it turns into clouds that is called condensation. When the clouds move they gain more vapour.

Precipitation When the clouds get heavy, rain starts to fall. That is called precipitation. Precipitation as quite a few forms, here are the ones I know. Hail, sleet, snow and rain.

Collection Collection is the only part of the water cycle that doesn't need to happen. Collection is the part where all the water comes back to oceans through rivers, creeks, lakes and ground water. Percolation is when water goes down in the soil to create ground water.

ITS TIME FOR A TEST!

What is percolation? Dinner I don’t know When water goes down in the soil to create ground water Rain
