HEALTH INSURANCE You can waive this insurance if: All CUMC SON Students  Health insurance required You are automatically enrolled in: Columbia Student Health Insurance Plan (administered by Aetna) Starting Fall 2017,students will be automatically enrolled in the GOLD level of the plan. You will have the option to upgrade to PLATINUM or waive. You can waive this insurance if: your own coverage is comparable you sign a financial responsibility statement you waive before June 30, 2017 & again before September 30, 2017 Regardless of your insurance, all CUMC students are automatically charged a SHS fee.
