Everyday printing at the UM For using the Ricoh printing system, there are 4 steps to follow for students: Register at the Ricoh MyPrint website (one time action only); Put printing credit on your online Ricoh printing account; Register your UM card in the Ricoh printing system on a Ricoh printing/copying machine (one time action only); Print your print jobs using your (registered) UM card. Step 1: Register at Ricoh MyPrint Go to this website: https://myprint.maastrichtuniversity.nl/ This is what it looks like: Click here to continue.
Type in your UM username and password and click the LOGIN button Type in your UM username and password and click the LOGIN button. With logging in for the first time you are automatically registered in the Ricoh printing system. Click the LOGIN button to continue.
Step 2: Purchase credits Here you can see your Printing Credits top right. You can purchase new credits using the Purchase credits button. Click the Purchase credits button.
Choose one of the 3 amounts to add to your printing account. Click the € 20 button to continue.
Select your desired payment method, click Next and follow the instructions. Click the Cancel button to continue.
Step 3: Register UM card for printing Go to any Ricoh printing/copying machine in one of the UM buildings; Presenting your UM card Place your UM card against the card reader. The display will show: ‘Card not recognized’. Continue with the steps below. Register your UM card Press ‘User ID’. Enter your username on the screen and press ‘OK‘. Press ‘Password’. Enter your password on the screen and press ‘OK’. Press ‘Log in’. Your UM card is now linked and you can now use it to print, copy and scan at all printers. You don’t have to go through this procedure again the next time you use it. Sign off by pressing the ‘Logout’ button, or swipe your UM card across the reader. Click here to continue.
Step 4: Print your print job You can print from all UM student-PC’s directly by using the pre-installed Ricoh printer (there is only one). For printing from other (mobile) devices check the manuals on the MyPrint information website: http://www.maastrichtuniversity.nl/myprint Go to any Ricoh machine closest to you. Swipe/Place your UM card across/against the card reader. You should be automatically logged in. If this does not work or you forgot your UM card, you can also login with UM username and password. Touch the Follow-You Printing button. Touch your print job in the displayed queue. Touch the Print button; your job is being printed. Touch the Logout button or swipe/hold your UM card across/against the reader again; you will then be logged out. Click here to continue.
