Events for the implementation of programs for prevention and control of non-communicable diseases Bishkek city, November 2015

Statutory documents Approved by the Government of the KR Programme for Prevention and Control of NIH (11.11.2013г No. 597). Created a Coordination Council on Public Health. Certificate of Merit for services in the formation of a healthy way of life, the promotion of culture and education, can be awarded to: citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic and other countries, organizations (regardless of ownership), local administrations, media and others. Functioning a Coordination Council on NIH under the Ministry of Health Opened a pre-medical cabinets of NIH in Center of Family Medicine;   Started an implementation of the major activities of NIH, PEN protocol to the pilot Health Organization in Bishkek and Moscow and Almadun districts of Chuy regions (with the support of K-project) Prepared projects of the Programm: - Preventive maintenance and diabetes control - Prevention and control of respiratory diseases - To prevent and reduce the effects associated with the consumption of alcohol

Work on the activities of the NIH for integration with other projects, programs National program Den-Sooluk ( priority: cardiovascular disease) In 2 districts of Chuy regions ( Alamudun and Moscow), started an implementation of PEN protocol, within the Kyrgyz - Swiss project in Bishkek with the support of WHO Within the project of POR project included in the assessment of primary care areas of the PEN protocol. Working in conjunction with the Kyrgyz - Finnish project "Prevention of tobacco smoking" in terms of consulting the public through CSS, doctors and structured counseling patients who smoke. Project of Autonomy suppliers (Kyrgyz – Swiss project) started work on making components of the PEN in the curriculum training. Implemented a work on making changes in the curriculum of family doctors and students of the KSMA. Included in the project of Resolution of the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic "On the Program of the state guarantees" regarding the definition of blood cholesterol, free of charge. Included in the draft order of the Ministry of Health "Types of services provided by primary level health organizations": The early detection of risk factors in patients with NIH.

Events Published a research «STEPS» and handed out to the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic, Ministry of Health, NAC, MOH library, KSMA, NTsKiT and others. Establish and implement a register of patients with diabetes mellitus; A working group for the implementation of a register of patients with cancer Conducted actions “Week of hypertension” within the World days of heart and fight against the hypertension, World Diabetes Day and etc. Campaign to control blood pressure in 1600 villages of the country with the assistance of CSS. Brochure for hypertension, a memo to the population in the Kyrgyz language, “Diseases of the heart and blood vessels can be avoided”. Functioning educational column for the population in the newspaper "Den soluka minutes Kenesh", “Vecherniy Bishkek", speaking of staffФу Collectively with volunteers from the American University of Central Asia (AUCA) Faculty of Journalism produced videos about the dangers of tobacco use, excessive salt intake, these rollers are transferred to the Arts Council of PTRC

Work with population and intersectoral level The Mayor's Office of Bishkek city developed and approved by an inter-ministerial action plan for promotion and healthy lifestyle (HLS). Information and educational activities are carried out on healthy lifestyles, held 11 lectures, 64 radio talks, 13 roundtables, 3500 common information materials. In addition, the Mayor's Office of Bishkek city informs about the increasing number of children, sports grounds close to the residence of citizens and the organization of recreational and treadmills is performed in the reconstruction and improvement of parks and green spaces. The ministries and departments secured by authorized persons on NIH responsible for the implementation of this program. Work of the Fund of CHI collectively with Ministry of Health of the KR For the sustainability of the project: Indicators for outpatients examination for the early detection of patients with high blood pressure and risk factors included in the indicators of FCHI for checking the CFM; On the basis of the developed indicators, work has begun to develop a mechanism of motivation of health workers on the identification of risk factors and take on keeping patients with hypertension;
