Improves Concrete Performance & Appearance Characteristics “THE NEXT GENERATION IN CONCRETE POLISHING” TOLL FREE 1.844. 239.4056 INFO@SILEXSYSTEM.COM Improves Concrete Performance & Appearance Characteristics SILEX™ Power Placement Products holds 97% OF MIXING water in the slab during the critical first 72 hours. improves abrasion resistance to the same equivalent level as trap rock. improves the structural integrity by increasing tensile strength resulting in the cores being 40% stronger than average concrete. seals the concrete improving cleaning and reducing staining.

SILEX™ Power Placement Stage 1 “THE NEXT GENERATION IN CONCRETE POLISHING” TOLL FREE 1.844. 239.4056 INFO@SILEXSYSTEM.COM SILEX™ Power Placement Stage 1 Improves the surface appearance by allowing the placement contractor to wait longer before placing a trowel on the slab without the fear of the slab getting away from him. LARGER WINDOW OF finishing improves flatness. Edges match the field of the slab. The surface is closed and consolidated. Burning the slab which changes the color, is no longer necessary in order to get a tight and properly finish the concrete.

“THE NEXT GENERATION IN CONCRETE POLISHING” TOLL FREE 1.844. 239.4056 INFO@SILEXSYSTEM.COM SILEX™ Power Placement Stage 1 is a patented curing formula that is non-film forming, low VOC, water based cure applied to new concrete during the placement and finishing process. SILEX™ Power Placement Stage 1 increases abrasion resistance, increased surface density, improve wear characteristics, and reduces permeability by creating a 1" barrier that retains 97% of the water in the slab, which ultimately reduces volume loss cracking and curling. It provides a superior initial cure for concrete floors and is the first of 3 products when used together as part of a process. Will result in an easily workable, densely consolidated, and highly refined surface using power trowels.

SILEX™ Power Placement stage 1 is easy to install “THE NEXT GENERATION IN CONCRETE POLISHING” TOLL FREE 1.844. 239.4056 INFO@SILEXSYSTEM.COM SILEX™ Power Placement stage 1 is easy to install Stage 1 application sILEX™ Power Placement System is a 3 product system that is used to cure, finish & seal concrete. The products are LABELED as Stage 1, Stage 2 & Stage 3 to facilitate the sequence of use. Stage 1 is applied during the finishing process • It’s as easy as 1, 2, 3 The 1st application is applied by spraying uniformly onto the slab during screed placement at a rate of 1200 sq. ft. per gallon before the bull float process. The 2nd application of Stage 1 is applied before the first use of the pans. Many contractors apply the product directly through the power trowel. This way they have no additional labor. The 3rd application of Stage 1 is also applied through the trowel in conjunction with the pans.

Application PROCESS OF StagE 1 “THE NEXT GENERATION IN CONCRETE POLISHING” TOLL FREE 1.844. 239.4056 INFO@SILEXSYSTEM.COM Application PROCESS OF StagE 1 stage 1 is Applied using a High-Volume, low- pressure commercial grade sprayer during screed operation. Application Rate: 1,200 ft2/gal Applications Required: 3 Yield: 400 ft2/gal

2nd application of Stage 1: applied ahead of the panning “THE NEXT GENERATION IN CONCRETE POLISHING” TOLL FREE 1.844. 239.4056 INFO@SILEXSYSTEM.COM 2nd application of Stage 1: applied ahead of the panning

“THE NEXT GENERATION IN CONCRETE POLISHING” TOLL FREE 1.844. 239.4056 INFO@SILEXSYSTEM.COM 3rd application of Stage 1: applied ahead of the finishing blades Trowel floor until the desired level of burnish/finish is achieved.

“THE NEXT GENERATION IN CONCRETE POLISHING” TOLL FREE 1.844. 239.4056 INFO@SILEXSYSTEM.COM SILEX™ POWER PLACEMENT STAGE 2 is a non-film forming, low VOC, hydrophobic treatment applied to new concrete during the placement and finishing process. This product is a hydrophobic fixative, and is the second of three products that when used together as part of a process, will result in a refined and subsurface sealed slab. It penetrates and cross-links with Stage 1 quickly, producing a higher level of initial hardness with minimal downtime.

Stage 2 APPLICATION PROCESS ~ Across entire floor “THE NEXT GENERATION IN CONCRETE POLISHING” TOLL FREE 1.844. 239.4056 INFO@SILEXSYSTEM.COM Stage 2 APPLICATION PROCESS ~ Across entire floor Using a HIGH-VOLUME, LOW-PRESSURE, manual or commercial grade sprayer. apply the product uniformly onto the slab surface at a rate of 300 ft² / gal (28m²/L) Applications Required: 1 as soon as power troweling of the surface has been completed Work the product into the surface using a foxtail broom and keep the surface wet with STAGE 2 for a minimum of 30 minutes. Apply additional product as needed to maintain surface saturation.

SAW CUTS “THE NEXT GENERATION IN CONCRETE POLISHING” TOLL FREE 1.844. 239.4056 INFO@SILEXSYSTEM.COM Saw cuts can now be placed in the concrete. After saw cuts have been cleaned out, Stage 2 should be applied into cuts. Debris will NOT stain the surface. Allow the product to air dry. After completing application of Silex™ Power Placement – Stage 2, prepare for application of the next product; Silex™ Power Placement Stage 3. SAW CUTS

SILEX™ POWER PLACEMENT STAGE 3 “THE NEXT GENERATION IN CONCRETE POLISHING” TOLL FREE 1.844. 239.4056 INFO@SILEXSYSTEM.COM SILEX™ POWER PLACEMENT STAGE 3 Stage 3 is a low VOC seal applied to concrete following the placement and finishing process. The product forms an insoluble chemical bond to produce a dense sealed surface, with superior hardness, enhanced gloss and slip resistance. It is the third of three products, that when used together as part of a process, will result in a highly refined slab surface. BENEFITS Produces a refined surface with a highly reflective gloss Enhances and protects integral color decorative surfaces Superior hardness increases life expectancy of the concrete surface High abrasion resistance reduces surface wear and increases life expectancy Reduces surface permeability Dust proof, non-marking, easy to clean for reduced maintenance costs Resistant to blushing and does not yellow, chip, peel, or flake with age or exposure Fast drying and quick curing reduces project down time

Application PROCESS of Stage 3 “THE NEXT GENERATION IN CONCRETE POLISHING” TOLL FREE 1.844. 239.4056 INFO@SILEXSYSTEM.COM Application PROCESS of Stage 3 Using a LOW –VOLUME, HIGH-PRESSURE manual or commercial grade sprayer, apply the product uniformly onto the slab surface at a rate of 1,000 ft² / gal (92m²/L). Two applications should be applied. The first application should be light enough to prevent a film of liquid when sprayed. Using a micro-fiber applicator wet the surface of the pad and spread on surface. DO NOT over apply as it will result in improper curing and possible whitening. Ensure material on applicator has dried completely before additional applications. Dwell time of at least 60 minutes is recommended between applications. After ensuring the product has fully cured, use a high speed burnisher with a Silex Spectrum Pad between applications to improve surface gloss. Additional applications will improve the level of protection & gloss.
