Navigation Tree Depending on your role in the system, you have access to various sub-tree functionality: Home – access your Home page My Workspace – access your dashboard page where you can view a summary of your alerts, problems, orders, shipments, and receipts Inbox Status – access the results of uploads and downloads Exceptions – access a summary of your exception alerts in the system Supply Planning– access the planning schedule for your collaboration items Order Management – access purchase orders, shipments, receipts, reverse logistics POs, return shipments and replacement shipments Inventory – access Inventory status Upload/Download – execute uploads and downloads Reports – access reports My Profile – change your user role in the system A B C D E F G H I J

Page Display The main area of the screen is where you can perform searches to locate information, view lists of search results and then view or take action on the various documents.

My Workspace Click My Workspace to see your “dashboard” for easy access to exceptions and workflow items. Problem Summary Alert Summary Order Summary Shipment Summary Receipt Summary 1 A B C D E

My Workspace Click the number for the item that you want to review. The records are shown on a list page – one row per line item. 3 2

Change Role On the left navigation tree, go to My Profile  Change Role. Click the Find button to see the Roles to which you have access. Navigation Path Show/Hide Navigation Tree Click the arrow button to hide and show the Navigation Tree. Slide the edge of the navigation tree to expand or decrease the width. Navigation History Path As you navigate the system, it displays your navigation history as a selectable pathway (cookie crumbs). You can click on any page name in the pathway to immediately display that page; however, this history path will not always accurately reflect all workflows. Tip: Use this path instead of your browser’s Back button. 1 3 2

Locating Items There are several methods for locating items: Filter is best used when items or names are unknown. Filter displays a list from which you can select instead of manually typing search criteria. Search is best used when you know something particular about the item, such as name, number, or description, that can be manually typed into the search fields. Summary is best used when you want to access items grouped by Category and Status. Summary is redundant with the My Workspace page (W), and offers the ability to filter the data based on particular parameters. W A B C B

Using Search Search boxes ARE case sensitive. Use the asterisk (*) symbol as a wildcard for unknown characters. For example, entering *12* in the Part Number box searches for parts that have 12 anywhere in the number. Use the underscore (_) symbol as a wildcard for a single unknown character. For example, entering *8_ in the Part Number box searches for parts ending with 80, 81, 82, 83, 84, 85, 86, 87, 88, and 89. Enter multiple items separated by a comma and no space between the entries. B D

Search for Date Ranges There are many places in SCMP where you can search based on a date. There is a set of ‘To’ and ‘From’ fields to create a date range Click into one of these fields to see a calendar. Click in the calendar to select a date. Selecting ‘Now’ will enter the current date in the ‘To’ and ‘From’ fields. Enter a time using the ‘Time’ fields in the calendar pop-up window (when shown). Use the slide bar below date fields to select a date range based on today. Negative integers mean ‘X’ days in the past’ and positive integers means ‘X’ days into the future. Note: You can save the date range criteria or even set it as a default (click ‘Save’). C A *12* B

Working with Lists When SCMP presents you with a list from which to select items: To select all the items in a list, click the Select All checkbox. Enter a page number and click Jump to go to another page. You can select items on different pages if the action button is ‘View’, but you cannot select items on different pages for other action buttons. Use the drop down to change the number of entries per page (Max of 30 for Orders, Shipments and Receipts. Max of 20 for Planning Schedules and Inventories.) To switch between Ascending and Descending sort order for a column, click the Sort Order icon. The number indicates the order of sort by column. To change the column display and their sort order, click the Table Configure icon. E D A B C

Viewing a Details Page A Details Page has a Header section and Line Items. Buttons below the Header apply to the Header and all the Line Items. Buttons below the Line Items apply only to the selected line items. Scroll right to see additional details. Choose from the State menu and click Filter to view Line Items based on status. Click blue text to see additional information. Header A D Line Items E C B

Date Format All dates are displayed in USA format of Month Day, Year. For example: OCT 31, 2016 In some cases, time will be appended to the date in the format of Hours : Minutes : Seconds. For example: OCT 31, 2016 21:34:56 The time-zone for all User Interface and system displays is UTC (Universal Time Coordinated), which has replaced GMT (Greenwich Mean Time).

Manufacturing Line Number Format When used, all Manufacturing Line Numbers shall be entered in a format that is consistent with the 787 Master Production Schedule "Airplane Line Number". For example: "1", "2", "9997", etc. When used, Manufacturing Line Numbers shall not be combined on a single planning schedule/planning schedule response requirement. When multiple Manufacturing Line Numbers align with a single requirement date, a row should be copied and pasted for each unique Manufacturing Line Number.

Getting Help Online In the Header, click Help. In the Help tab, click the desired item name from the menu. The new tab may be dragged to a second monitor as needed. ‘Training’ documents cover business logic and detailed step-by-step instructions. ‘Reference’ guides (1-2 pages) provide step-by-step instructions for multiple processes in one guide. ‘Procedures’ (about 3-5 pages) provide instructions with pictures for specific processes. The help files are in the PDF format which requires Adobe Acrobat Reader. 2 1
