Jeremy Hunt said: “I truly believe that introducing this test will help us achieve our ambitious target of making our NHS the safest healthcare system anywhere in the world. It may not be ‘evidence based’ in the traditional sense, but if you look at leading trusts like Salford Royal, and Frimley, which are already delivering wonderful care, they would probably be delivering even more wonderful care than they already are if they used this test.”
