Writing the BOE Report

Writing skills are key BOE report has a critical role in the accreditation process BOE report is a professional document BOE report may be shared with public BOE Report is a reflection on the quality and professionalism of teams

Use the BOE Report Template Write a summary for each element that supports your conclusion of the level at which the element is met Support your statements with evidence/data Indicate when evidence is not available

Process All sections of the report must be written & shared with team on Wed. morning of the visit for editing. Team chair compiles & edits report soon after the visit & sends it to team members & NCATE for final editing. Team chair incorporates edits & sends report to institution for factual corrections. Team chair incorporates factual corrections, finalizes the report, & sends it to NCATE. NCATE notifies the institution that the BOE report is finalized. Institution may prepare a rejoinder to the BOE report.
