Who is the DECT Forum The DECT Forum is the international association of the wireless home and enterprise communication industry. DECT, DECT 6.0, J-DECT (Japan), DECT Security and CAT-iq are worldwide-adopted technologies with high relevance for wireless voice, broadband home and enterprise communication.

Market Adoption More than one billion DECT, DECT 6.0, J-DECT, DECT Security and CAT-iq devices have been sold worldwide, which continues to increase by over 100 million products per year. The DECT Forum has currently 50+ members and is located in Bern, Switzerland.

Addressing the challenges of 5G: Key Benefits DECT / ULE Mission Critical: high reliability profits from unique dynamic channel selection affording no system down time Bandwidth: Up to 1 Mbps with 12 Duplex channels Range: up to 70 M indoor(walls etc), up to 500M outdoor Latency: <10ms and down to 1ms for fast response times in critical applications Interference: Uncluttered spectrum eliminates interference Low Power:Battery Life>10 years for coin battery.
