18 F-deoxyglucose (18FDG) PET/CT fusion scan 18 F-deoxyglucose (18FDG) PET/CT fusion scan. Patient had a retroperitoneal paraganglioma that was resected. 18FDG-PET/CT fusion scan shows a large metastasis involving the left acetabulum and inferior pubic ramus. The metastasis had negligible 123I-MIBG uptake. A metastasis causing an L4 compression had been treated previously with radiation therapy. Source: Chapter 11.
