Definition Constitution with a loose connection of the 13 colonies

Powers Weaknesses 1. One state=one vote 1. No common currency 2. Declare and conduct war: need 2/3 vote to declare war and ratify treaties 2. No regulation of interstate commerce 3. Negotiate peace 3. No ability to tax people in states 4. Regulate foreign affairs 4. No President/Executive Branch 5. Administrate Indian Affairs 6. Needed a majority of states to agree to pass a law

Conclusion: We need a more effective Government!
