Presentation transcript:

Pearl Harbor News Article Write a breaking news article about Pearl Harbor as though you were a journalist living at the time. You’ll write a general article about the attack (informational) including perspectives of military or medical personnel, government officials, or accounts from ordinary citizens. For a different look or more of a challenge, you could also write an article from the Japanese perspective. Be creative with your assignment! Significant details? America’s Reaction? Interviews? First hand accounts? Historical narrative? Etc. Your news article should be at least 1 page in length and have at least one picture along with it. Using word, or another program, create what looks like a columned article from a Newspaper or Magazine. Give it a heading, too (newspaper source, date, article title, etc. ) Sources you could use are listed on the following slide! 15 points classwork assignment! You may work individually or with a partner.
