Primary Newsletter 5 – Summer Term 2 FRIDAY 7 JUlY 2017 Dear Parents/Carers YEAR 3 TRIP TO THE SCIENCE MUSEUM This week, year 3 had an eye-opening experience at the WonderLab in the Science Museum. They watched a live science show and learned all about circuits, conductors, insulators, and generators. After, they had loads of fun interacting with various exhibits that were designed to spark wonders. In addition, all students behaved so well that they impressed a lot of passengers on the train. It was a very successful trip, well done year 3! YEAR 2 TRIP TO THE HORNIMAN MUSEUM This week, year 2 have also been out on a trip. They travelled by bus to the Horniman Museum and Gardens as part of their topic ‘Green Fingers’. They had a fantastic time taking part in a garden explorer workshop, learning all about different plants and words that can use to classify them. They also got the chance to look around the museum, explore the giant instruments and visit the farm. The sun shone all day and the children had a fantastic time. A member of the public commented on how well behaved they were and we have to agree! .
