Key club 2014-2015

Pledge I pledge, on my honor, to uphold the Objects of Key Club International; to build my home, school and community; to serve my nation and God; and combat all forces which tend to undermine these institutions.

What is key club? Key Club was started in 1925 and is the oldest and largest service program for high school students. It is a student-led organization that teaches leadership through service to others. Members of the Kiwanis International family, Key Club members build themselves as they build their schools and communities. Key Club has approximately 260,000 members in approximately 5,000 clubs. Key Club is represented in over 31 countries.

Hours Sheets ALL hours earned through Key Club sponsored or hosted events need to be listed on ONE sheet. You are responsible for keeping track of your hours. At the end of the year we will sign off on your hours and turn them in so that they remain on your record. If you have any questions about hours talk to an officer after the meeting.

The Eliminate project Delivering the cure for maternal and neonatal tetanus. Kills one baby every nine minutes Nearly 60,000 newborn children die every year To eliminate MNT from the Earth, 129 million mothers and their future babies need to be immunized The Eliminate project will reach the poorest, most neglected mothers and babies with additional lifesaving health care. The end of this one disease means the beginning of better health for so many families.

Independent projects At every meeting we will have a list of organizations at which you can volunteer with independently, even if the club as a whole is not sponsoring the event. We do this so that you can ensure to reach your desired number of volunteer hours at a schedule that is convenient for you! New Horizons Power Volleyball Academy

Power volleyball academy Need volunteers to help run concessions, the store, and help with cleanup. Shifts will be about 4 hours long and they will need volunteers potentially on a weekly basis, usually Saturdays from 8am – 10pm. For more information contact Jessica at (937)218-4560
