Values and Attitudes in Family Planning A belief that is important to an individual. Can be influenced by ; personal experiences religious, educational and cultural factors among others. Attitude: A view or opinion that is formed by values and beliefs (self esteem, hope, faith, confidence)
What to be emphasized Every interaction between the client and the counselor, affects the client’s satisfaction and continuation with service. How we communicate our own values and attitudes is an important part of our interaction with our client. See Value clarification excercise .
