Ocean-Atmosphere Fields and Fluxes: Coakley/Guo development of data sets to allow estimates of surface radiation. Freilich/Vanhoff/(postdoc) improvements in higher resolution SCAT winds. Chelton/Reynolds comparison and improvements in SST fields. Strub/Kosro/(postdoc) combination of radar and altimeter fields. 3. Ocean-Atmosphere Models and Data Assimilation: Skyllingstad/Samelson/Perlin Coastal Air-Sea coupled models Allen/Samelson/Choboter analysis of ocean model fields.
