Socio - economic assessment of the project For decades high levels of burn injuries associated with human activity, catastrophes, changes in demographic have consistently been noticing in the world. The social significance of the project: - to provide high quality medical care to victims of burn injury, cold injury, chemical burns, electric traumas - to use modern technology treatment, to minimize the negative results of treatment of patients with burns (more than 40% of body surface) - to decrease mortality and disability in deep burns, especially for the working population and children

Mortality among patients with severe burn injuries over 40% of the body surface for the last 5 years

The causes of high mortality among categories of patients with serious thermal lesions Poor material and technical base of Burn Centre of Kyiv City Clinical Hospital №2 Lack of sterile boxes Inability to full implementation of modern technologies, including the cultivation of cells and tissues to treat affected areas with deep burns due to the lack of specialized laboratories

The main characteristics of the hospital The power of Kyiv City Clinical Hospital № 2 - 300 beds, including burn center - 80 beds. Burn Center operates since 2000 in areas of building construction in 1962. The total area of the Center - 5.5 thousand square meters. Total area of the building (main building) - 8,7 thousand square meters.

Basic indicators of the project The composition of future medical complex will include:   1 launch complex – the new building of Centre of thermal lesions with 80 beds (area - 16.0 square meters); 2 launch complex - reconstruction of existing buildings (general and gynecological) to accommodate 210 beds (area - 16.0 square meters); The total capacity of the future complex - 325 beds. The total area - 40.0 square meters.

The main advantages of the project 1. The possibility of cooperation with investors on the basis of public-private partnerships.   2. The joint implementation of new technologies in the process of growing cells and tissues (provision of 3%).   3. Profiting investor through the introduction of new technologies in areas of the hospital: high-tech diagnostic tests (55% availability); reconstructive and plastic surgery (52% availability).

To investors: Offers for investors the parts of new areas of the complex (30%) for the introduction of private medical services or 0.4 hectares of land for using on its own needs (not necessarily medical institution).
