One of them who inspired me is our Queen of Sales for the month of April, Ms Kim Su Yeon. She’s an incredible Christian Pastor, and also owned a Korean Restaurant. This May 2014, she just recruited another and she is running for Red Jacket before the month of May ends. I am very inspired by her when we met, she believes that Mary Kay business is the one for her because she loves the products (initially just supporting her friend in Korea, but fell in love with the products because her skin has improved) , wanted to beautify women, and to enrich their lives. She strongly believes that in the bible there is no mentioned of “MLM activities – whereby the top sales people get to “shake their leg” while their recruits will work for them” , she believes Mary Kay is a wise woman and her way of business is the way that we should all work – which is towards helping people and with life balance (God First, Family second and career third) so that our lives will be enriched.

Today, I saw her at our class, showing lots of love and care to her customer, Fran. Her customer, Fran was very shy, so Kim just kept praising her and helping her to apply skincare and makeup. When I saw Kim, I felt like I saw Mary Kay in her. Once again, I thank Mary Kay for giving me the chance to meeting so many great people in my life and helping more women becoming directors in my team and helping more customers to becoming beautiful and to help them build their self-confident! Our Future Sales Director - Cindy Lam I-Story God bless that she will complete her DIQ successfully soon! Previously I was working as a childcare teacher and principal for 6 years. I actually enjoyed working with children. But I don’t see myself earning any credit or achievement in my job. I used to work from 7am to 7pm almost every day, having mountains of workload and problems which forever cannot be finished or solved. In the end, my stress level increased and temper became very bad especially towards my spouse and families. So I decided to change another working environment. It happened that I got married and was planning to settle down with family. So I took a break. Indeed, I got pregnant and kept throwing up during my first few months, health wasn’t good, so decided to work only after I gave birth. While waiting for my delivery, I took up some other courses on other skills such as event planning and came across a beauty class which back then was conducted by my mentor. I tried all the skincare products and picked up some makeup skills from the class. I found that the steps were easy to follow.

The product that really impressed me very much is Mary Kay’s Lip Mask The product that really impressed me very much is Mary Kay’s Lip Mask. I used to have dry lips and dark spots on my lips which my GP and many lip balms couldn’t help me. When I first tried Mary Kay Lip Mask, it immediately helped me to remove the dead skins on my lips. I have never felt so happy! So I bought the Lip Mask and I don’t have dry lips problem anymore. At the end of the class, my mentor Juliana praised me for looking young and pretty and said that I should join her as beauty consultant and I will definitely do a great job! I never really believe what she said but I was happy inside as I have never received such great compliments from anyone in my life before. It was only after a few months, after spending some thoughts on what I want to do for my new job and how to balance both family and career, I decided to find out more about the business opportunity from her. I like the fact that the startup capital is very minimal, there’s free training provided, good mentorship program, it’s your own business, you have flexibility of time and I can make myself and other ladies around me look beautiful. So I joined Mary Kay in Oct 2012 when I was in my third trimester. I started off with my families and felt so happy to see them happy and beautiful at the end of the beauty class. I never thought I could do this and have been doing for close to 1.5 years. It has been a great journey. I never thought I would be able to receive so many rewards, recognitions and certifications, just for conducting beauty classes and enriching women’s lives. Now I can tell people what achievements I have in my life.

There are more to come! I am looking forward to debut as Independent Sales Director by June 2014 which is like a Head of Department in Corporate world. In which company can you be promoted to such a position within 2 years or less. How many of us can reap what we sow? In Mary Kay, we can! How many companies provide free trainings and guarantee help you to move up if you really want to move up? In Mary Kay, we can and every consultant has a fair chance to move up. As you are your own boss, you need not worry about retrenchment or not able to apply for urgent leave. I thank God for showing Mary Kay to me! It helps me to be able to prioritize and balance my life – God first, Family Second, Career Third. I thank Mary Kay for appreciating me for who I am. I thank all my sisters in Mary Kay for looking after me and giving me moral support when I need it. I thank my seniors for their Go Give spirit in grooming me! I could never find all the above mentioned in any other company. That’s not all! They are giving away cars, diamond rings, free trips and support in renting office space, when you hit their challenges. Treat us like a beauty school and get certified and we will show you the route to be a beauty trainer.

This Seminar 2014 – aim for these rings!

Debrief for all Consultants while you attend my classes! Every Thurs at 7pm it’s our skincare/makeup open class. You can bring your guests, however you are required to bring your own products for your guests. After the whole skincare class, let’s sit down together and do debrief. As you can see from the above flow of the class, there are 3 parts. To all New Consultants, please memorise the following when you attend my classes: For first class, memorise what I did for part 1. Then when you come for the second class, memorise what I did for part 2 and then when you come for third class, memorise what I did for part 3. During the classes, you can record or video taped me during the classes. This business is all about duplicating . Just duplicate what I did. And treat all your guests with the “Make me Feel Important” attitude. Tell me also your learning key points and what can you improve from there.
