What is the EAEC? The European Association of ERASMUS Coordinators (EAEC) is a non profit, non governmental organization based registered in Cyprus with a well established network of partners and 125 university members. It was founded in 2005 and since then it has been growing steadily.

What is a Thematic Innovation Meeting? Objective – to assist its members to exploit to the fullest the European financing schemes, leading them to successful proposals A meeting is set up for a specific call or for a specific Action: The meeting is moderated by a member organization of the EAEC Task Force Call priorities and the thematic area are stated Researchers or project participants are invited through the network Participants need to submit at least one idea for a project Participants are invited to the meeting, specifica date and minimum 6-8 hours. Maximum participants 20. Each participant presents the idea at the meeting

What is a Thematic Innovation Meeting? g) Discussion on the ideas, converging ideas, developing proposal titles, discussing main activities for each proposal, main WP and main Outputs, assigning leaders of proposals, developing consortia for each proposal, each participant is expected to be a partner in at least 3 proposals. If time does not permit then a deadline of 7 days is set for leaders to receive interest and form consortia. h) If proposal preparation support is needed then the leaders contact the Task Force i) The development and success is monitored and recorded by the EAEC European Office NEXT THEMATIC INNOVATION MEETINGS: 18 October 2017, Club University Foundation, Brussels (SAVE THE DATE)

Access to the calendar of deadlines for EU funding calls NETWORKING Profiling your organization for expertise in thematic areas of research and development Finding organisations in similar fields of activities for the establishment of partnerships. Integration of the member organisation in networks and consortia of special interests. EU PROJECTS Enhance the EU project success in proposal submission. Find reliable and experienced project partners. Facilitate the exchange of ideas and good practices. INTERNATIONALIZATION Enhance the visibility of the member organisation internationally. Facilitating the Exchange programmes between EU and non-EU HE Institutions. Involvement of members of the organisation to the European and International scene Maximize your participation opportunities in EU funded projects!

The EAEC European Office in your country The EAEC European Office with the support of PROGNOSIS could develop a National Support Office hosted in one of the local universities or organizations with a contact communication person connected with EAEC. The contact will be managing all the national request for support by the EAEC TASK-Force and will be organizing local Thematic Innovation Meetings. Communications with other EAEC European Offices in other countries and distribution of information in English and in the local national language. The local member representative will have an access password to the Portal and send reminders for funding alerts. Organizations active in providing Consulting Services for EU funding cannot become EAEC European Office National Members. FEES The membership fee for the full support is at 900 euro per year payable to EAEC and includes: A. 400 euro covers the annual membership to EAEC Association and this covers information and partner search. This is an option without necessarily subscribing to option B also. B. 500 euro covers the National Networking Support for establishing the National European Office with the support of the EAEC Task Force, PROGNOSIS and the organization - host of the National Support Office. The fee above does not necessarily include free support for preparation of proposals as an expert consultancy organizations of the EAEC Task force may apply different formula of cooperation.
