WPATH’s Global Education Initiative (GEI) The Global Education Initiative (GEI) started as a goal of the BOD’s most recent strategic plan (2013-2017). The main purpose of GEI is to improve access to care for transgender and gender non-conforming people worldwide. Course material is based on the Standards of Care.

WPATH’s Global Education Initiative (GEI) Co-chairs – Drs Gail Knudson and Lin Fraser. We have hosted 14 courses since November 2015. On-line courses are being developed. 2 phase development. Competency development Train-the-trainer
