WPATH’s Global Education Initiative (GEI) The Global Education Initiative (GEI) started as a goal of the BOD’s most recent strategic plan (2013-2017). The main purpose of GEI is to improve access to care for transgender and gender non-conforming people worldwide. Course material is based on the Standards of Care.
