~ Pick a french-speaking artist and one of their songs ~ Pick a french-speaking artist and one of their songs. The song has to be in French, it can not be a translated song. It can not have swearing in it and must be appropriate for school. Once you've found your song, send it me so I can take it off the list of abailable songs. No sont can be repeated in a class period. In this powerpoint you will find a list of different artists and a few song examples online to guide your research. You can pick any of the artists I list or another artist who isn't on the list. ~Once your song has been approved, Make a plan with important information you want to write about. The plan can be in English but the written part and presentation must be in French. The plan with important information should include: 1-When were they born?Where is the artist from? 2-An interesting fact about the artist. 3-When they wrote this particular song and 4-what is the song about.  5-What you think about this song. 6-An interesting line that spoke to you, you find interesting, agree with or don't agree with and 7-explain. ~Proof-read your work with your peers, ask questions, use a dictionary and ask the teachers any questions.

Write a good copy of your presentation (Must include a bibliography Write a good copy of your presentation (Must include a bibliography. Plagiarism is an automatic fail of the project) ~Give the French presentation (must be around 6-10 minutes). The presentation must include the important information written in the good copy of your presentation, playing the song to the class, and displaying the lyrics to the class in some way (projector, print the lyrics for the class *let the teacher know what you need to show the lyrics to the class*)  You must hand-in the good copy of your presentation at the time of your presentation. You are allowed to read from your presentation paper.  If the class or teachers have any questions about your presentation and you can not think of the full answer in French you can use some English words. How you will be graded (checklist): Did you find a french artist? (1 point) Did you find a french song? (1 point) Did you say all the important information? (7 points, one for each important point)
