Richard Rymer , July 17, 2014 He worked for National Bureau of Standards Was an electronics technical representative in Germany Preferring to work with people, he became a psychologist Richard taught at University of Akron from 1970 to 1993

Richard Rymer (Continued) Was active in Kent Historical Society, several nature organizations and antique car clubs Was life member of ORTA and PCRTA since 1994

Alice Darr, August 21, 2014 Born and educated in Illinois Moved to Ohio to become a KSU faculty member Became Coordinator of the Home Economics Department Was co-chair of the KSU Commencement Committee for 25 years

Alice Darr, (Continued) She and her husband were life time members of ORTA and PCRTA Enjoyed traveling, camping and volunteering Died after a courageous battle with cancer.

Dr. Lloyd Mills He was professor emeritus of English at Kent State University

Dr. Lloyd Mills (continued) He was an admirer of Ben Jonson’s work. (Ben Jonson was a poet and dramatist during the time of Shakespeare). He believed that literary works should reflect both the artistic and moral integrity of the author He died Dec 8, 2013, survived by son Ralph Mills, two daughters, and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

James A Rinier Jim framed his view of the world through geography.

James A Rinier (Continued) Jim taught at Kent State University Geography Department for 51 Years!!! He was inducted into the ODNR Hall of Fame in 2009 He is survived by his wife , Mary, who continues to be part of our group!

Milton Manes, PH.D. He was a life member of ORTA and joined the PCRTA . Milton was a physical chemist with the U.S. Bureau of Mines.

Milton Manes, PH.D. (Continued) In 1967 he came to Kent State University as a professor in the Chemistry Department. He returned to Pittsburgh on this retirement in 1985. Died on February 27, 2014.
