Quick Start Menu Easy Student Access User Selection Start writing Make a book Recent files and favorites Templates and wizards Files Tab The Quick Start Menu allows for independent student access to the most frequently used parts of the program. Feel free to explore. If you get lost remember to follow the red lightening bolt to return to the Quick Start Menu
Make a TALKING BOOK Return to Quick Start Menu by pressing Click Make a Book Select: Portrait or Landscape If you want more editing options, you can click “Edit Clicker Set” at the bottom left of the screen. When you are ready to review your book, click the play button on the toolbar. Making a Book
Turn off instant pictures If you do not want pictures to instantly generate as you type, you can turn this feature off Options > User Preferences > Media Check off instant pictures
Word Predictor You can turn on the word predictor to help students when typing Options > User Preferences > Predictor
Adjusting Text size and color Click on format > font
Adjusting background color Click on the color palate to change the background color
Add pictures You can add images, paint, take a picture from the webcam You can use the paint tool to paint on top of the image

Record a Message You can record a message by clicking on the speech bubble When you are happy with that message you can click OK. To listen to the recording you need to turn the book on into play mode. Click the green button at the top To go back to edit mode click on open tool bar at the bottom
