Core Responsibilities Performance International No compromise philosophy https://youtu.be/p3BjexRo514 UK Sport provide international inspiration to reach young people to take up a sport

Ryder Cup - 2014 – Scotland Rugby World Cup – 2015 Commonwealths – 2014 - Glasgow Champions league – 2017 - Cardiff

Case Study: Chris Hoy 11 time world champion 6 time Olympic champion Won a total of seven Olympic Games medals, six gold and one silver. Arguably the most successful British athlete of all time. Hoy went through the world class performance programme which is run by UK sport. “The bottom line is without UK sport, the support I received through the lottery funding and world class performance programme I wouldn’t be where I am today. I would still be in the sport but there is no way I would have achieved these goals. It’s simply not possible at this level and in this day and age”
