Quality In Healthcare “Good quality means providing patients with appropriate services in a technically competent manner, with good communication, shared decision making, with cultural sensitivity and with greatest efficiency.” Institute of Medicine, 2001

Accreditation Accreditation relies on establishing technical competence of healthcare organization in terms of accreditation standards in delivering services with respect to its scope. It focuses on learning, self development, improved performance and reducing risk. Accreditation is based on optimum standards, professional accountability and encourages healthcare organization to pursue continual excellence
