Listen – Seek First to Understand and then to be Understood. – This is a 2 Way Street. Don’t be Afraid to Disagree – A good PROFESSIONAL Argument will lead to a better Outcome.

Talking with Information Technology People About Finances When asking for data – Explain what you are doing and why you need it. They will understand and get you what you really need – They understand what data is available. Don’t be afraid to stop them when they are speaking “technical”. Prioritize – They can not do every project Today. Involve IT on the frontend of a project and not as an after thought.
