-moving paper under a glass ACTIVITY 1 -moving paper under a glass Before playing the game, let’s think What will happen if he is not careful? The glass will fall. The glass will break. So he must be very careful.

ACTIVITY 2 -Throwing an egg What will happen if he is not careful? The egg will fall. The egg will break. He needs to clean the floor. So he must be very careful.

Revision on conditional sentences How do we say about them using ‘if’? If he is not careful, the glass will break. If he is not careful, the glass will fall on the floor. If he is careful, he will catch the egg.

GRAMMAR POINT Do you think that he must do something in order to play better? MUST ( HAVE TO)

CONDITIONAL SENTENCES USING ‘MUST’ TO SHOW ‘NECESSITY’ OR ‘OBLIGATION’

Examples If he does not want to break the glass, he must move the paper faster. If he wants to catch the egg, he must always look at it.

If they want to go diving………... What must they do?

Example 1 If they want to go diving, they must know how to swim. If they want to dive deeper, they must have a bottle of oxygen.

If he wants to play tennis, he must have …..

Example 2 If he wants to play tennis, he must have a racquet. If he wants to play tennis, he must have some tennis balls.

‘if’ can be put in the middle of a sentence. We must bring an umbrella if ___________________.

You must practice a lot if you want to swim well. You have to lie in the sun if you want to get a suntan. You have to walk faster if there is a fire.
