Volcano By Martin Leal By Martin Leal Volcano

How it happens The earth shake and it makes the volcano explode . The earth is made of rock on the surface on the earth the rock is cool and hard. Underneath the rock is hot and liquid . The liquid rock is called magma while it is in the earth which makes it erupts.

How long does it last The last volcano erupted for twenty three days. Mount Vesuvias erupted for two days without stopping. A volcano erupted in Mexico and lasted for one week as it grow bigger. The volcano in Hawaii lasted for 5 throw 8 hours.

What season do they occur They could occur an any season. Volcanoes occur in every season. Beacause the volcanoes have there own seasons to erupt.

Where do they occur Volcanoes only erupt in certain places. Some volcanoes like Hawaiian islands. Volcanoes occur at plates boundaries. Volcanoes mostly are on the edges of the earth. About sevety five percent of earth is volcano.

Damage Volcanoes cause a formation of tsunamis and landslides. That make houses get swept in to the street and sometimes water . They also cause stuff to melt and make other stuff crash into things in there way.

Precautions (How to survive) If you live near a volcano make preparations well in advance. You will also need a power radio with fresh batteries. These are some of the thing you need just in case a first aid kit blankets and warm clothing.

How often do they occur Volcanoes erupt only one time other volcanoes erupt in thirty years. An Alaska a volcano had not erupt in ten thousand years. Extict volcanoes don’t erupt anymore.

Information about a famous volcano Mauna Loa is 4 km above sea level. Mauna Loa is the biggest volcano on are planet. It covers half of hawaiin island combine together. Mauna Loa is thirteen thousand six hundred seventy seven feet.
