Target Audience: This unique course is designed specifically for incoming hand surgery fellows. The course will offer the fellows the chance to learn various hand surgical techniques and anatomic approaches from faculty of hand fellowship programs prior to the beginning of the fellowship year. Course Overview: This course seeks to enhance the knowledge and skills of the hand surgery fellow in the treatment of all regions of the hand and upper extremity. Specifically, this course seeks to inform and instruct the fellows on current techniques in hand surgery; provide a conducive learning environment and access to their fellowship director, where applicable; and reinforce didactic sessions with cadaveric based hands-on training. Following the conclusion of the course, the participants should feel improvement in his or her skills in treatment techniques and options in the hand and upper extremity.
